I’ll keep this short and sweet. 

1. I am allergic to the sun! – I suffer from something called poly-morphic light eruption. After 15 minutes in the sun, my skin says ‘no more’ and I will eventually end up with a fine red rash. In some instances, my skin will blister. The solution is to stay out of the sun… or move to a cold climate. Which brings me to…
2. I am allergic to the cold! – in cold temperatures, I suffer from urticaria – swelling and itching of the skin. I have had tests to see if I have an autoimmune issue, but it came back negative. Still open to a cure! 
3. I started my first ‘business venture’ at 12 years old. My mum is an entrepreneur at heart, as a child, she had some ‘leftover’ beauty stock. I saw an opportunity to have a market stall, took the stock and made 100% profit.
4. I started investing at 19 years old. 
5. I love to travel and am a seasoned solo traveller. I would love to do more and highly encourage others to do so. However, my first solo trip was to New York. I was filled with excitement and had lots planned. I was staying in a youth hostel, and after arriving and getting ready to venture out, I went to the bathroom and cried. The realisation of being in a huge city on my ‘Jack Jones’ hit me. But, I said a prayer, composed myself, got outside, turned left, headed for the Metro station, ‘felt the fear’ and went for it anyway. I use that experience to remind myself, that on the other side of that wall, that fear, is an amazing experience. 
6. I have been to the Sahara Desert.
7. My heritage comprises 14 nationalities, including Kenyan, Finnish and Native American. 
8. I’m a Tennis fan and have been fortunate to see greats such as Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon. 
9. I learnt to speak 4 languages at school.
10. As a child, I was scared of cats.
